FAQ
What makes Agga Coffee unique, and why choose your products?
Agga Coffee stands out for its certified quality, small-batch roasting, and nitrogen-flushed packaging. We use the finest beans, hold BRCGS, HACCP, and Kosher certifications, and offer many Organic and Fairtrade blends. Our signature coffees are either 100% Arabica or blended with a small percentage of premium Grade A Robusta for balanced flavor and crema.
Are your products compatible with Nespresso® and Keurig® machines?
Yes. Our Nespresso® capsules work with OriginalLine machines. Our K-Cup® pods work with all Keurig® brewers.
Are Agga capsules compatible with Nespresso Vertuo machines?
No. Our capsules are made only for Nespresso OriginalLine machines (the smaller dome-shaped pods). Vertuo machines use a wider capsule with a barcode, so Agga capsules will not fit or brew. If you have a Vertuo, you need a Vertuo-compatible brand.
Are your capsules and pods recyclable?
Yes. Our Nespresso® capsules are made from aluminum and are recyclable. Our K-Cup® pods are made from BPA-free plastic. After use, allow them to cool, remove the seal (and filter on K-Cups), compost the grounds, then recycle where facilities allow.
Do you use Robusta in your blends, and if so, why?
Yes. We use premium Grade A SC17+ Robusta in some blends, always in small amounts (5% to 20%). It adds rich crema, fuller body, balanced flavor, and a bit more caffeine, creating a bolder and creamier espresso.
What grind size should I use for whole bean coffee?
It depends on your brewing method. Use a fine grind for espresso machines and moka pots. Use a medium to medium-fine grind for drip and pour-over. Use a coarse grind for French press. Use a fine to medium-coarse grind for AeroPress. Use an extra coarse grind for cold brew.
How can I keep my coffee as fresh as possible?
Store coffee in an opaque airtight container in a cool, dry place away from light and heat. For best flavor, aim to finish an opened bag within 2 to 3 weeks and grind just before brewing. Our nitrogen-flushed bags with one-way valves also let you store larger quantities safely for longer.
Does your coffee expire?
Our coffee does not expire in the sense of becoming unsafe. It has a Best Before date of 2 years from production. For example, if the box or bag shows MA/BB 07/2028, the coffee was produced in July 2026. MA means “Meilleur avant” and BB means “Best Before.” After this date the coffee is still safe to drink, but the flavor and aroma gradually fade. We add nitrogen to every product before sealing to replace oxygen, which helps keep it tasting fresh longer.
Why is Agga more expensive on your website than in stores?
Retailers buy in volume and operate with thin margins. This allows them to offer a better price than a direct order on our website, where shipping, processing, and payment fees are added. Buying from a retailer near you is usually the best value for the same coffee.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return and exchange window on all of our coffee products. If an item arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, contact us for a full refund or replacement, including shipping fees. Opened products cannot be returned for taste preferences, but quality issues are always covered.
